Lucy Hale’s Celebrity Doppelganger Revealed — Who Did the Pretty Little Liar Get Mistaken For?
The Pretty Little Liars stars must get recognized quite a lot, and that’s not even taking into account the times they’re recognized as another gorgeous celebrity. Who did Lucy Hale (Aria) just get mistaken for?
“Woman at airport -‘Selena, can I take a picture of you?’ I think I crushed her & her daughters dreams after I revealed the truth …” Lucy tweeted yesterday, drawing our attention to the similarities between the two fresh-faced stars. Both Lucy and Selena Gomez have small frames, long dark locks, and winsome smiles. And, we can’t speak for the woman at the airport, but we wouldn’t mind getting our photo taken with either of them.
Lucy and Selena have something else in common: their dual affections for both acting and singing! Lucy has been spending a lot of time at the airport as of late, as she balances the responsibilities of Season 5 filming for Pretty Little Liars and promoting her upcoming country music album, Road Between. Her album drops on June 3 (though it is already available for pre-order on iTunes) and, later in the month, she will taking the stage at the Grand Ole Opry — one of her life dreams.
This somewhat hectic lifestyle is par for the course for the actress, who would often fly from L.A. to Nashville on the weekend breaks from her nine-month filming schedule to work on the album. Lucy talked to ANDPOP about the chaos of the recording process: “I didn’t want to rush anything, I wanted it to feel right. I didn’t want it to feel [like] I was just singing these songs because someone gave it to me. I wanted it to feel 100 percent genuine.”
Who knows? Maybe sometime soon, people will be mistaking Selena for Lucy?
