Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale Wins 2013 Young Hollywood Award For Crossover of the Year!
Lucy Hale is no stranger to awards shows. The Pretty Little Liars star often sweeps the competition, whether it’s for her acting, her fashion, or general talent and likability, and she’s about to add another statue to her shelf of honors.
The 2013 Young Hollywood Awards announced that Lucy will be honored for “Crossover of the Year” for her endeavors on TV and in film (plus being on every magazine cover ever, it seems). She’ll walk the star-studded red carpet at the live show on Thursday, August 1 at 8p.m. ET/PT in Santa Monica, California.
Our girl is one of the first honorees to be announced, and she’s in great company — Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany is being honored for breakthrough performance; The Carrie Diaries’ AnnaSophia Robb was named the Superstar of Tomorrow; and Game of Thrones’ Kit Harrington was named Actor of the Year! By the time the show airs on The CW in August, there will be a slew more honorees and presenters announced, and we couldn’t be more excited.
This is Lucy’s first Young Hollywood Awards win, though Pretty Little Liars was given the “Show to Watch” back in 2011. That was definitely well-deserved, as is her award this year. Congrats, Luce!
