Lucy Hale is one lucky little liar, and she’s got the best Christmas gift ever to prove it.
The Pretty Little Liars star has spent the last month promoting her debut country album across the country, and her producer Mike Daly just captured the years-long journey with the most perfect gift.
Lucy’s sweetly honest song, “Nervous Girls,” is one of our favorites! With emotional lyrics like this, we can understand why Luce called the album-making process “really scary”: “I'm that girl you think that's got it figured out. But I walk around, with a head full of doubt… I'm scared and I'm brave, or somewhere between the two. I'm beautifully strong, and tragically confused. Yeah I'm that girl, that's just like you.”
We can only imagine how nervous Lucy is for her debut single, “You Sound Good to Me,” to hit iTunes on January 7, 2014, but having watched her show-stopping performance at the 2013 CMA Country Christmas, we think our girl is going to be just fine. She’s already got the pipes of a country superstar!
Of course, we don’t want Lucy to forget about Rosewood anytime soon, especially now that Ezra is “A” suspect numero uno. It’s going to be a tough season for Aria, so here’s hoping she turns to country music to help her cope with all of her feelings. There has to be a song about a lying, psycho ex-lover somewhere on the album, right Lucy?
What do you think of Lucy’s emotional gift? And are you as excited for her album as we are? Sound off in the comments!
