Lucy Hale’s debut country single was officially released today, January 7, but those tuning into Sirius XM Radio were treated to a first listen yesterday.

In what the Pretty Little Liars star called “maybe the coolest moment of my life,” Lucy premiered her single, “You Sound Good to Me,” during a live show on Sirius XM’s The Highway Monday.

“I thought I was going to cry,” Lucy said after hearing the song on the radio for the first time. “I’ve heard that song probably a million times, but never the way I just heard it.”

If the release of Lucy’s long-awaited single wasn’t enough, fans will also be treated to the song’s music video, which will premiere during the Pretty Little Liars winter premiere (Season 4, Episode 14, “Who’s in the Box?).

The Tennessee native hasn’t been shy about expressing her dream of being a country singer. The 24-year-old actress calls the genre her first love, even above acting. She has been hard at work over the past year writing and recording the album and was recently in Nashville performing songs from the album in various venues. While Pretty Little Liar’s recent hiatus has allowed Lucy to concentrate on her music full-time, the show’s return will soon mean a packed schedule for the starlet.

“Up until now, it’s been either one or the other,” Lucy said. “When I have to juggle both of them, that’s going to be interesting.”
