Lucy Hale is going full steam ahead on her country music career. Last week, the Pretty Little Liars star flew to Nashville to shoot the music video for the second single off of her debut country album Road Between. This week, we’ve been tweeted to the release of her live performance of the same song: “Lie a Little Better”. Check out the vid!

The live performance was recorded at YouTube’s live performance space in L.A., and had us tapping our toes to the song Lucy admitted was inspired by someone she worked with on PLL. She told ClevverTV: “It wasn’t planned because I’m on a show called Pretty Little Liars, I promise. But, it is inspired by someone that I’ve — I’ll give you a little tidbit — It’s inspired by someone who I worked with on that show, and it’s not who you think it is.”

In the video, Luce belts out each and every note of the toe-tapping pop country ballad, accompanied by her studly band members. And, with lyrics like “The truth is I’m falling to pieces every time you’re around. The trouble is the truth keeps slipping out,” you better believe we’re dying to know who she’s referring to in the song. She told Us Weekly: “I used to have a crush on one of my castmates — and it's not who you think. My song ‘Lie a Little Better’ is about that experience.” Hm, any guesses?
