It was only two days ago that we learned rapper Ludacris had fathered a child with another woman while on a break from his longtime girlfriend. Now TMZ reports that his baby mama is not happy with how little money Luda is setting aside for their newborn daughter. And she’s taking him to court in hopes of getting more child support.
Ludacris — whose real name is Chris Bridges — recently asked the courts to put a $1,700 cap on his child support obligations. Tamika Fuller, a friend from the rapper’s high school days in Georgia, is fighting back. TMZ has the court documents, and they say she wants nothing to do with the cap.
In the docs, Tamika says Luda has made $80 million between 2006 and 2012, and that he spends about $7,000 on his lawn and $5,000 on his pets. So less than $2,000 on child support? Doesn’t really seem like he has his priorities straight.
Luda and Tamika’s daughter, Cai Bella Bridges, was born on December 9. He has one other daughter, Karma, 11, whose mother is Atlanta attorney Christine White. He’s currently dating Eudoxie Agnan, who hails from the African republic of Gabon. The couple went on a break in early 2013, which is when baby Cai was conceived.
Now that the courts are involved with Cai’s child support claims, we bet we’ll be hearing more from Luda, and from Tamika, in the very near future.
