We were filled with joy when former Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin announced that she was expecting baby No. 3! After following her baby bump journey for the last few months, it’s finally time to find out the gender of her latest bundle of joy. Surprise, she’s having yet another boy! How does Lydia feel about having her third son? Read on to find out!

“We’re having another boy!” Lydia revealed to OK! Magazine in the June 25th issue. “He’s due on November 11. The whole family found out together.”

After having two little boys — 5-year-old Stirling and 3-year-old Maverick — Lydia made it pretty clear that she wanted to have a girl this time around. Now that she knows there’s another boy on the way, how does she feel?

“I actually surprised myself, because even though I told friends I wanted a daughter, as soon as you find out you’re having a healthy baby, the gender doesn’t matter and you just get excited,” Lydia said. “I wouldn’t trade my boys for anything. We’re going to raise three great little gentleman, and the world needs more gentlemen.”

In fact, it seems like Lydia is very happy being the queen of the castle, with her husband, two sons, and their dog — who’s even a boy! But are her boys ready to be big brothers to another little guy?

“My sons had actually been praying for a sister, so after hearing the doctor’s news, Stirling said, ‘Mommy, I guess I’m going to have to wish for a girl again on my next birthday,” Lydia continued. “We were like, ‘No, no, no! We’re done with kids.’ His birthday wish in February was actually for another baby and I found out I was expecting a few days later, so I feel like this pregnancy is because of him.”

Welp, it sounds like Lydia is going to stick with having a partial basketball team and won’t go for baby No. 4. And you know what? We don’t blame her!
