Bow down, Bookout! Personally, we were under the impression that Maci Bookout was one of the world’s most perfect females, but the OG Teen Mom star has another icon in mind — Beyonce.
Maci attended the pop diva’s Nashville concert and was left practically speechless — well, almost. She posted a photo with some friends before the concert, and also shared her post-show reaction with her Twitter followers.
“when God thought of the perfect female... Beyonce was born,” she tweeted on July 13.
We couldn’t agree more, Mac! After all, we are talking about the singer who defined the term “Diva,” made it OK for us to be “Single Ladies,” and who declared that girls actually “Run the World.”
And when we think of “Independent Women,” the name Maci Bookout comes to mind. This little lady raised 4-year-old Bentley, managed to stay out of trouble, and now even hosts MTV's Teen Mom after show.
The Beyonce concert Maci attended was especially memorable because the artist took to the stage less than an hour after a court ruled George Zimmerman “not guilty” in the murder case involving unarmed black teen Trayvon Martin.
To honor Trayvon, Beyonce had a moment of silence at the concert and then sang the chorus of “I Will Always Love You” before transitioning into her hit “Halo.”
After the concert Maci retweeted the comment, “Black, white, blue, green, orange. Color doesn’t matter. Either way a life was lost. Nobody really wins here.”
Clearly this will be an event Maci won’t soon forget. Are you a Beyonce fan? Tell us below!
