If you've been a fan of the "loveable, sarcastic" Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) on Game of Thrones, you may have to brace yourself for a change because this little girl is going to get very dark in Season 4.
Maisie Williams told Wetpaint Entertainment in the past that we can expect to see a very different side of her character this season, and she reaffirms that assertion in this interview with Popsugar.
"I don't know how people are going to react [to Arya this season]," Maisie admits in this interview. "Because her little one liners that she used to have are now a lot darker, and not so funny, and a bit more twisted." Well, seeing your family and all their bannermen slaughtered will do that to a girl.
"She's at the age where you're a complete sponge, and you soak up habits and traits from everyone around you," Maisie adds. And when the one person you're spending time with is the brutal Hound, that means the traits you pick up might not be so nice.
Maisie goes on to talk about how she's changed while filming Game of Thrones. Fortunately, she doesn't seem to have picked up her character's darker side!
