Watch Majesty Rose Sing “Let It Go” in American Idol 2014 Top 11 — March 12, 2014

It’s hard to believe that American Idol started almost two months ago, but here we are watching the contestants fight for a spot on the summer tour! On tonight’s episode (March 12), the 11 remainders contenders will show us their true artistry by taking on “Songs From the Cinema.” We’re actually more excited by this theme than we have been in awhile — so much so that we even picked our own choices for them to sing!

Next up is Majesty Rose, who — after nailing performances time and again — seemed to flat with her rendition of “Fix You” last week. Now more than ever, she needs to prove to the judges that she knows who she is as an artist by choosing songs and arrangements that fit her too a T. Majesty decides to take on “Let It Go” from the Oscar-winning Disney movie, Frozen. While the song seems like a good idea in theory, she struggles to keep the tune from overwhelming her.

“You really are a mystery to me,” says Harry. “You go from Janelle Monae to Coldplay to singing a Disney song tonight. The downside of that is that I’m starting to lose sight of who you are because you’re spreading yourself so stylistically thin.”

“That’s a big song to sing,” adds Keith. “I think most of it for me was really good tonight. But it’s like that here. It’s not always like that watching it on TV. You’ve got to ease into it more. You can’t attack it so much.”

Do you think Majesty deserves to make it to the Top 10? Sound off in the comments!
