Mama Joyce Claims Todd Tucker “Was Raised By a Pimp and a Prostitute” (VIDEO)

Sometimes we don’t know what to say when Mama Joyce makes her bold statements. Kandi Burruss’s outspoken mother is prone to making wild accusations (their validity often disputed) when it comes to her daughter’s man Todd Tucker, but she takes the cake in the upcoming premiere ep of Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding.

In a new sneak peek from the spin-off, Mama Joyce goes after her daughter’s then-fiance (now husband) by bringing his family into it — namely his mother.

Things start off in a kitchen powwoww between the mother and her grown daughter, where Mama Joyce is complaining that Todd’s mom Sharon can stay at their home when Kandi’s not there. Kandi points out that her future mother-in-law treats her much better than Joyce treats Todd, but Joyce doesn’t think it’s for genuine reasons.

“She know the game,” Mama Joyce quips to a confused looking Kandi, prompting her to clarify, “You didn’t know the game, they know the game. What I’m saying is Todd was raised by a pimp and a prostitute.”

Wait — what?! How did we just go from Todd’s mom being a mooch to being a full-on lady of the night? And why does that also make his dad a pimp — who, by the way, passed away before Todd was born, a point Kandi makes soon after.

Then, the future Mrs. Tucker asks her mom the question we’re all wondering: “Why are you assuming the worst?” The matriarch shoots back, “Only because you’re my daughter and I just wish it had been somebody else’s daughter that they latched onto.”

“You don’t think that highly of me because you think, clearly, the only thing I got to offer is some money,” Kandi wisely replies. This prompts Joyce to go into that “same caliber” talk again, meaning she wishes Kandi had found someone who was as wealthy as her. However, we’re with Kandi on this one, because why should she have to limit her dating pool to only men with equal or more wealth?

“Life is chess, every consequence has a consequence,” Mama Joyce says. Huh?! “Once you get the king then the game is over. Check mate.” Seems like a pretty pessimistic outlook, if you ask us…

Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding premieres Sunday, June 1 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
