Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul’s Proposal — Relive the Emotional Moment! (VIDEO)
Were you one of the lucky people not in New York City or Detroit last night? If so, then you were blessed with witnessing the sweepingly romantic proposal between Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul on the Bachelor in Paradise first season finale. But for those who were stuck with Monday Night Football or who were waiting to watch on DVR today, we’ve got the most important moment right here for ya!
Anyone who watched even a handful of episodes of BiP will probably not be shocked by what went down during this final episode. While love seekers like AshLee Frazier and Sarah Herron were sort of floundering around Tulum, trying to convince their men that they were meant to be, Marcus and Lacy were like an old married couple from the start.
So after three weeks of dating (yes, that’s all that BiP was filmed over), the 26-year-old ex of Andi Dorfman got down on one knee last night and asked his equally tan (and gorg — seriously this couple is hot) lady to be his forever love.
We won’t spoil Marcus’s seriously adorable speech for you, but let’s just say that while he was fighting back tears, we were doing the same at home! Also this: “All I want to do is make you the happiest girl in the world, and be by your side no matter what.” Squee!
Sure it was a quick romance and the proposal was pretty casual — Marcus was wearing Converses and shorts, guys — but we have to give it to them, this rivaled some of the Bachelor and Bachelorette’s most dramatic finale proposals. Plus, who else can say that they got engaged in front of three of Bachelor Nation’s most beloved couples?
