Margot Robbie Goes Brunette for a Role! What Do You Think of Her New Look? (PHOTO)
Mark our words, 2014 will be Margot Robbie’s breakout year. The Wolf of Wall Street beauty has already left her mark on the public thanks to her uber-sexy role in the Oscar-nominated film, and her killer style on the red carpet this awards season. But that doesn’t mean the rising talent is shying away from taking risks. Case in point: she just made a dramatic change to her look for a new role!
Margot posted a photo to WhoSay yesterday from the set of her new film, Z for Zachariah, and we almost didn’t recognize her! The normally-blonde actress was makeup free (not like she needs it!) and has dyed her platinum locks a mousy brown hue — and she tops it all off with a grungy trucker hat. A bit of a departure from her glam Golden Globes appearance, right?
“First day on set for Z! She ain't a Duchess no more,” Margot captions the photo, referring to her character in Wolf of Wall Street’s nickname, “Duchess of Bay Ridge.”
A little over a week ago, it was announced that the Australian-born star would be replacing Amanda Seyfried as the lead in the indie film, and now she’s already down in New Zealand filming. Chris Pine and Oscar-nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) will also star in the post apocalyptic story of an American woman who seems to be the only survivor of a nuclear war — but all is not as it seems. Sounds like a promising project for such a promising talent!
