Mario Lopez’s Daughter Gia Dresses Up as Dorothy For ‘Wizard of Oz’ Premiere
Click your heels together three times and bring on the cute! Mario Lopez attended the Hollywood premiere of The Wizard of Oz 3D this weekend, bringing along his 3-year-old daughter Gia and his young niece. Both girls were clearly excited about the film, and even decided to dress in their Land of Oz best for the occasion!
Gia was decked out in full Dorothy garb, complete with an adorable pair of ruby slippers and a basket with a little stuffed Toto. Her cousin was channeling Glinda the Good Witch in a frilly pink dress and high headpiece, and both girls had beautifully blushed lips for the cameras.
The 39-year-old TV host of Extra and The X Factor (and Saved By the Bell alumnus, of course) disappointed us a little with his lack of costume. We definitely think he would’ve looked extra fine in a Tin Man get-up or even The Cowardly Lion bodysuit. Just imagine those adorable dimples on the bashful lion!
Even though Mario showed up sans costume, the celeb dad was looking as svelte as ever in a simple tee and jeans. He recentlywelcomed his second child, a boy named Dominic, one week ago today with wife Courtney Mazza, but before the delivery, he toldYourTango that Gia was really excited about having a little sibling.
As for Mario, he was ecstatic to grow his family, saying his favorite thing about parenting is everything! “I look forward to coming home every day and hearing those little feet running toward me,” he says. “’Daddy!’ It's just the best feeling ever.”
