‘Glee’ Star Mark Salling Won’t Face Charges For Alleged Rape (UPDATE)
UPDATE (11/01/2016 4:02 p.m. ET):
Mark Salling won’t face charges for allegedly raping a 22-year-old four years ago, according to E! News.
The Los Angeles District Attorney claims there is not enough evidence to charge the former Glee star.
However, if more evidence surfaces, the D.A. may reopen the case.
Original story (10/30/2016 9:38 a.m. ET):
Mark Salling has found himself in hot water again.
According to the woman, the pair had been dating for a few months before the incident, where she says the actor forced himself on her.
She told cops afterwards he didn’t stop, even after she said, “I can’t do this.”
The incident occurred nearly four years ago, but the woman just filed the police report in April.
The 34-year-old is currently awaiting trial after being arrested for possessing child pornography last year.
In fact, cops found thousands of images of young children on his computer and throughout his home.
“My son’s nanny actually told me about it when the story broke,” she said. “Then I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way.”
“When Mark dumped me, I thought it was the worst thing ever, but can you imagine if that didn’t happen? And I was laying there in bed when the battering ram came through the door?”
Mark also settled a lawsuit this year with Roxanne Gorzela, who dropped the sexual battery charges against him.
