Maroon 5 Star Writing Music With X Factor Winners Alex & Sierra!
Adam Levine, wherever you are, sit your yoga-toned derrière on down because we’ve got some bad news: You’ve been betrayed! Don’t worry. Your fiancée, Behati Prinsloo, is in the clear. We’re talking professionally.
Here’s the deal: Adam’s one of the many well-known judges spinning magic over on the NBC’s The Voice. He’s in a little band known as Maroon 5. Maybe you’ve heard of them? Also in that startup venture is James Valentine, a talented guitarist and songwriter responsible for a number of M5 hits including “Give a Little More” and “She Will Be Loved.”
Well, it sounds like James has no problem spreading the musical love since he’s currently writing for a rival reality TV show!
“Writing in this raining cali weather with @jamesbvalentine @alitamposi and @ruthannemusic :))),” Alex & Sierra of The X Factortweeted February 6.
You read write. A Maroon 5 band member is helping out The X Factor. The shock! The horror! The... well, actually it makes some sense.
The show’s Season 3 winners have a distinctive mellow vibe and pop music flavor that nicely align with James’ own artistic ventures. Of course they’d get in sync as Alex & Sierra work on their post-win recordings!
As for those other two names in the tweet, Ali Tamposi has penned such singles as Kelly Clarkson’s “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” and a few numbers for Queen Bey herself while Irish artist Ruth-Anne Cunningham is best known stateside for co-writing JoJo’s “Too Little Too Late.”
With this kind of talent in their corner, Alex & Sierra are bound to have a hit album!
