It looks like Master P has a lot of dirty laundry — and by dirty laundry we mean family drama — that he wants to air out on the silver screen. From his messy divorce from his wife, Sonya, accusations of drug use, not to mention claims of abduction, it sure sounds like a great recipe for reality tv, ya’ll!
According to TMZ, Master P is already in works of developing his own show that is “celebrating the chaos and dysfunction that has rocked his family.” In fact, he has already shot a few episodes, and is currently pitching to BET, VH1, and Oxygen. But the question is, will the show get picked up, and more importantly how real will it be?
Given the turmoil that is currently surrounding the family — all with Sonya claiming to be on welfare, Master P having their kids testify against the abduction allegations, and Sonya wanting a $67 million dollar payout from the divorce — we guess this stuff can’t be made up.
So how does their son, rapper/actor Romeo Miller, feel about his parent’s tumultuous relationship? “If [Sonya’s] a better parent, she can have everything. She gets everything regardless,” he recently told reporters. Yet, while Romeo feels that his mom “deserves the world though,” he feels that there’s a lot of issues to work out.
Yikes! So much drama, you guys. Even though we hate to see a family like Master P’s fall apart, a part of us wants to watch this all unfold right from on our TV sets. You know, just to make sure it’s all “real.”
