Matt McCann has come so far since filming Teen Mom 3's first season. Not only did this wayward dude grow a chin-strap, he met the love of his life, Lekota Koch, and now they're engaged to be married! Lekota and Matt are all kinds of adorable, but fans were shocked when Matt revealed that they don't use birth control.
Back in August a fan asked Matt what kind of protection he and Lekota use, and he responded "We don't."
"It's been a year that we've been dating, less than that being sexually active but we've never had a pregnancy scare," Matt continued. "I have a lot of self control and neither of us are concerned about having a baby. We're focused on our education and going somewhere in life. Not about having sex and having a baby."
It seems like Matt's attitude has changed, because now-a-days he's trying to get Lekota pregnant!
"Laughing at @MatthewMMcCann for purposely trying to drop a spoon, multiple times. Hahahah," Lekota tweeted, to which Matt responded, "Drop a spoon, baby soon ;)"
At first we thought that Matt had gone the way of Kieffer Delp and Jo Rivera and was trying to become a rapper (we live in hope), but turns out he's just trying to impregnate his lady love.
"He thinks if he drops a spoon, I'll get pregnant but that's not how the old wives tale works," Lekota shared.
OK then. Clearly Matt has never seen Teen Mom, or he'd know that having babies as a teen brings nothing but drama-rama.
We know Matt and Lekota are in it for the long haul (and they're all kinds of cute), but do you think they should practice safe sex and wait to get pregnant until they're a little older? Weigh in below!
