Mariah Carey’s Me I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse: Stream the Entire Album Now!

The wait is over! Mariah Carey’s highly-anticipated fourteenth studio album — her first in five years — will be formally released on May 27, but now you can stream it in its entirety one week early. And with appearances by hitmakers like Wale, Miguel, and Nas, plus a return to her signature ballads and midtempo jams, you won’t be disappointed!

For both dedicated lambs and casual Mariah listeners, this is an album that you will be replaying for years to come. It’s a less trendy, more timeless outing that uses those hip hop cameos sparingly and effectively. There’s no way this release will suffer the same fate as 2009’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which was the lowest selling album of her nearly quarter century career.

From the groovy, summer-readiness of “You Don’t Know What To Do” (our personal favorite) to the “Vision of Love”-esque throwback “Cry,” this is Mimi in her zone. And when she does tap into the more modern, rap-influenced sound with “Thirsty,” it reads less try-hard, and more as the diva just speaking her sassy mind.

To recap: Whether you prefer Mariah as a balladeer or a pop princess, this is the release for you.

Head over here to listen to the entire Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse album, one week before its release!
