Mean Girls Turns 10 — What Do Today’s Teens Think of the “Fetch” Film? (VIDEO)

It may not be October 3rd, Aaron Samuels — but it is April 22, which means that Mean Girls is verging on its tenth anniversary.

Yes, the Tina Fey-scripted high school comedy came out on April 30, 2004. And though it may seem like the movie hit theaters just yesterday, YouTube videographers Benny and Rafi Fine have found teens who were anywhere from four to eight at the time — some of whom haven't even seen the flick!

In the Fines' new video, current high schoolers watch a trailer for Mean Girls and then answer questions about the pivotal satire.

"The trailer makes it seem super chick flick, but it's actually the greatest movie ever," says one guy. "It's still accurate today," another observes. "It's a girl world! Girl world never changes!" exclaims another.

Plus, Mean Girls is still culturally relevant: "Everyone says 'You go, Glen Coco," relates one teen, referring the oft-quoted quote. "One of the most popular memes in the world is, like, all of Mean Girls," observes another guy.

And though LiLo has fallen from grace — with these teens saying things like "Lindsay Lohan was so pretty!" and "I miss when Lindsay Lohan wasn't crazy," — one Mean Girls alum still holds mass appeal. "Rachel McAdams? So hot," says one girl. "Woman Crush Wednesday, every day."

Check out the video below for the rest of the teens' reactions!

When did you first see Mean Girls? Tell us about that, ahem, first time in the comments sections below.
