Lindsay Lohan Says a Mean Girls Reunion Could Really Happen! (VIDEO)
OK, so “fetch” may never happen... but it looks like an official Mean Girls reunion just might! Lindsay Lohan is in serious comeback mode lately, and — with the beloved film’s ten-year reunion arriving this April — she has revealed to Jimmy Fallon that we could actually get to see the gang all back together in the near future.
Lindsay was promoting her OWN docuseries Lindsayon The Tonight Show this week when she divulged an eyebrow-raising convo she had recently with Mean Girls writer and co-star Tina Fey. “I saw Tina, and she mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion,” Lindsay says. “She said she was talking to [Mean Girls producer] Lorne [Michaels] about, so she was talking to the big boss.”
A Mean Girls reunion? We so want to go to there! Lindsay — who recently had a mini-reunion with Daniel Franzese, a.k.a. Damian in the movie — doesn’t yet know how the full reunion might go down, and Jimmy even offered to host the full cast together on his show. Indeed, Jimmy is quite a fan of nostalgic reunions, having previously staged get-togethers for the casts of Full House and Saved by the Bell.
Even if this reunion doesn’t actually come together (sob!), Lindsay is definitely staying busy. Her show, Lindsay, premieres on March 9, and she recently signed on to guest on 2 Broke Girlsas a bridezilla. Plus, she’s set to film a starring role in the indie thriller Inconceivable next month. Keep it up, girl!
