Melissa Benoist Shares Sweet Message to Fiancé Blake Jenner on His Birthday (PHOTO)

Glee stars Melissa Benoist (Marley) and Blake Jenner (Ryder) may be one of Hollywood’s most low-key couples, but that doesn’t mean they can’t gush about one another every now and then. In fact, Melissa did just that in honor of fiancé Blake’s 22nd birthday yesterday, August 27. Want to read the sweet message Melissa wrote to her man? Read on to find out what she said! ❤️

Melissa took to Instagram to show Blake some birthday love, writing “Happy Birthday to @blakedaflake ...I'm so crazy happy you were born!!,” alongside an adorable photo of the duo dressed as Sandy and Danny from Grease. If we had to guess we’d say the photo was taken back when Melissa and Blake were filming Glee Season 4, Episode 6, aptly titled “Glease”. In that episode Melissa and Blake played Sandy and Danny respectively in McKinley's production of Grease, and the real-life couple even dueted with Lea Michele (Rachel) and Cory Monteith (Finn) for a fun rendition of “You’re the One That I Want”.

Neither Melissa nor Blake are expected to have large roles in Glee’s sixth and final season (though we’d be surprised if they didn’t pop up at least once before the show ends) but they’ve been hard at work on their joint passion project: Billy Boy. Written by Blake, Billy Boy stars him and Melissa in a love story about a troubled teen a young waitress. Production on Billy Boy wrapped earlier this month, and the movie was funded entirely by a Kickstarter campaign started by the couple — now if they could only get to work planning their wedding!

Wishing you a happy belated birthday, Blake!
