Melissa Gorga Feels Like She’s “Walking on Eggshells” With Teresa Guidice

The events that took place on the June 16 episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey left Garden State gal Melissa Gorga on the receiving end of much criticism after she and sister-in-law Teresa Giudice had a blowout over if and when Melissa visited her father-in-law in the hospital. After the episode aired, Melissa took to her Bravo blog and said she’s tired of “walking on eggshells” around Tre.

In case you’re unaware, the whole “hospital debacle” started when Teresa Giudice’s dad, Melissa’s father-in-law, was rushed to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. Melissa didn’t check up on her in-law as instantaneously as Teresa would’ve liked, and the ladies got into a heated q and a — during Gia’s 12th birthday party.

I’ve been walking on eggshells with her [Teresa] for ten years now, and my feet are killing me! I’m not perfect. I never said I was perfect. I make mistakes like we all do,” Melissa wrote on her blog, adding “and obviously I can’t count.

On the show Melissa insisted she saw her father-in-law the next day, when in actuality, it was three days (though Teresa says it was four) by her own admission.

I actually had to laugh at myself for arguing if it was three or four days. I still consider it three, which is closer to one, but whatever! LOL!

While Melissa tried to make light of the situation on her blog, she made a point about feeling like she’s under constant scrutiny.

It’s not easy feeling like I have all eyes on me at all times. A girl can start to get paranoid,” she starts.“ But this episode proves: It’s not paranoia if it’s true!

When does the healing begin? Apparently we have to stay tuned to watch the magic happen.

Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo. Will you tune in? Tell us below!
