We loved Season 5 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey as much as the next guy, but for Melissa Gorga, it was apparently a bit of a snoozer. Melissa recently spoke with TBB Reality at a recent book signing, and the new author revealed that she felt Season 5 "dragged" and that, for her, the best moment came during the post-season "Lost Footage" episode.
"I think Season 5 was probably, to me, one of the longest seasons. I felt like it just dragged on and was never going to end. It was a little bit of a tougher season, but it was just long," Melissa commented.
When TBB asked her to share her favorite part, Melissa concluded, "Favorite moment…You know when me, Joe, and all the kids took a bunch of people and went ice skating, that was my best. I think you got to see a little bit of that in the lost footage. That was fun. I enjoyed the fun moments when we’re all having a good time, that’s what I enjoy."
In fact, for Melissa, the extra footage episode was the best of the year. "You know I loved the Lost Footage, I thought it was better than the season!" she declared.
Still, if she had to choose an episode from the regular season, Melissa had no trouble picking her standout.
"One good episode, I thought, was when we were all in Arizona and we were on that highwire. I thought it was “WOW," she said.
