Melissa Gorga Thanks Pauly D For Helping Dina Manzo’s Charity!

Gym, tan, laundry … charity? Jersey Shore alum Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio apparently showed his soft side recently, helping a cause close to the hearts of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

As Melissa Gorga tweeted to Pauly on March 28, “@DJPaulyD thank you for being so generous with your time and donating a meet & greet to Project ladybug!! Much appreciated!” Pauly D replied, “Anytime.”

Project Ladybug was started by RHoNJ’s Dina Manzo in 2007. According to the official website, it’s now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization “dedicated to easing the struggles of childhood cancer. Project Ladybug will provide assistance to the patient and his/her family that is rarely given by other local and national organizations.”

Dina retweeted Melissa’s thanks to Pauly D, as well as Melissa’s other shout-outs to Ladybug supporters. Back in November, Housewives Dina, Melissa, Kathy Wakile, and Teresa Giudice held a drama truce and came together to support Project Ladybug at a charity event — and it sounds like Melissa is continuing to promote the great cause. (So much for that Melissa/Dina clash?)

You don't need to have kids to support the struggle against children's cancer, but Pauly D is a dad now, so he has extra incentive. He first met his then 5-month-old baby daughter Amabella in November; he didn’t get his wish to see her over Christmas, but a source told Wetpaint Entertainment he's been fighting for his parental rights.

Back pats to Pauly D, Melissa, Dina and everyone involved in the Project Ladybug cause!
