Bachelorette 2014 Men Tell All Ratings: Who Tuned in For Eye Candy and Man Drama?

We’d never have predicted that the usually filler-filled “Men Tell All” episode would top out those steamy Fantasy Suite dates for Andi Dorfman’s Bachelorette season, but it totally did! The ratings are in for the July 21 special, and even without a healthy dose of the Atlanta gal and her final two suitors, America still tuned in!

According to TvbytheNumbers, the episode — which sees the 23 rejected suitors come back to dish and duke it out — pulled in an impressive 7.09 million viewers, up from last week’s 6.91 million audience. Apparently, guy drama is more important than the Dorf’s Josh Murray and Nick Viall sexy times.

The two-hour long show also snagged a 1.8 rating in the 18-49 demo — topped only by MasterChef and American Ninja Warrior. That rating even matched the show’s killer Hometown Dates’ numbers — and without an Aaron Murray cameo!

A few theories on why the numbers were so high: 1) Andi’s group of dudes is widely touted as one of the hawtest in recent Bachelorette history, so why wouldn’t the viewers want to take in all of the man candy; 2) Hopes for a hint at who will be the Bachelor 2015 choice (Marquel Martin and Chris Soules are both fan faves); and 3) Chris Harrison in his element. ‘Nuff said.

If this is the kind of audience Andi can draw in for her MTA special, what sort of numbers will we get for that seemingly uber-dramatic finale on July 28? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Are you surprised that the MTA special did so well? Sound off down below.
