In their video package Meryl admitted to being disappointed with getting all 9s, no 10s next week. Their rehearsal didn't seem to go well. Maks was really upset that Meryl only got 9s, too. He still seems upset about the "phoning in" comment. Meryl ended up coaching him. She says that Maks' problem is that he's scared; he said he's terrified. He thinks the show gets to him. In the end they decided to pep talk each other. It's pretty cute.
The result was a fan-freaking-tastic Tango. Intense, intense, intense. And man did Meryl look great. Scorching hot in the way only a Tango can be.
Len said it was full of attack and purpose. Maks dances full on, and she's the first celeb who has been able to keep up with him. Bruno gushed that it was spine-chilling, totally gripping. It was like a face-off between two killers, and they were equally matched. Carrie Ann was speechless. There is something magical happening between Meryl and Maks. Artistic excellence. Redfoo said "E.T. phone home," because that was out of this world. Sure.
