Meryl Davis, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Charlie, Sharna to Reunite For “Shall We Dance on Ice”

It hasn’t even been two months since Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy won Dancing With the Stars Season 18, but we already miss them — and the other stars, pros, judges, hosts, band, wardrobe, etc. We even miss the live audience members who boo every negative critique. Sigh.

Never fear, though, because now you can see M&M perform again, at an event that will also feature Meryl’s other partner, Charlie White, and his other partner, pro Sharna Burgess, and his other other partner, fiancée and fellow ice dancer, Tanith Belbin.

They will all be featured at “Shall We Dance on Ice,” which is coming to Bloomington, Ill on Tuesday, December 16. That’s a while from now, but tickets go on sale this Friday, July 11. Why not give yourself an early Christmas present?

According to Disson Skating, “Music and special effects will create the segments of time and genre of dance, which will be performed by dancers and transition into elegant productions on the ice.” The cast will feature “the most decorated ice dancing team in U.S. figure skating history, 2014 Olympic Champions, two-time World Champions and six-time U.S. Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White.” Also performing will be “2006 Olympic silver medalists, two-time World silver medalists, five-time U.S.champions and 2010 U.S. Olympic team members Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto.” That’s not all, though; several other champion couples will perform, plus Maks and Sharna as special guests.

The DWTS connections go on: The event will be hosted by 1992 Olympic gold medalist and DWTS Season 6 champion Kristi Yamaguchi, along with Edward Villella.

Ticket prices for the show range from $45 to $75 (not including taxes and fees). For information, visit or call the box office at 309-434-2679.

It sounds like a great show — are you in?
