News reports and mug shots not enough Justin Bieber for your liking? Now there’s video! The 19-year-old pop star headed to court today (January 22) just hours after he was arrested in Miami Beach. Justin faces charges of driving with an expired license, resisting arrest without violence, and a DUI.
Wearing an orange jumpsuit and in handcuffs, the Biebs looks into the camera as Judge Joseph P. Farina discusses Justin (how odd is it to hear him referred to as Mr. Bieber, right?). The tone is serious for obvious reasons and yet we can’t help but crack a grin at Justin’s perpetual duck face. Maybe his mouth is permanently set that way? Guess we should be happy he’s at least not flashing a toothy smile like in his mug shot.
Justin’s being represented by celebrity attorney Roy Black, who has also served as counsel for the likes of Kelsey Grammer and Rush Limbaugh. In the video of today’s court proceedings, we see Roy and hear from the state’s representative. Judge Farina posted Justin’s bail at $2,500, which has since been paid as the Biebs left jail at around 2:30 this afternoon local time.
Now on to the next round of court visits and legal fees to be paid.
