This week’s finale on The Voice Season 4 proved to be a tight race between winner Danielle Bradbery and runner-up Michelle Chamuel. The quirky pop rocker managed to win over the love and support of thousands of fans across the country with her eccentric style, killer vocals, and genuine heart.
Now she has big plans for her career after the cameras stop rolling, and she gave some details to Extra following this season’s finale.
“It depends on if I team up with a label to do it or do it on my own. If I do it on my own, it will be a heavy indie electronic influence, people like Imogen Heap, Apparat, Burial — that type of stuff will be in there,” she said.“If it is with a major label release I’m assuming it will have more of the pop electronic side that I really, really dig.”
And though Michelle spent much of her career performing with the band Ella Riot, she plans to go solo in the future, just like Season 3 winner Cassadee Pope, who was the lead singer of Hey Monday.
“I don't think being in a band full-time is where my future lies,” she admitted.
Regardless of what path she takes, chances are Michelle’s coach, Usher, will be there to help.
