Pretty Little Liars Summer Finale: Marlene King Teases What’s to Come

The viewing public is only one episode away from the Pretty Little Liars summer finale (Season 4, Episode 12: “Now You See Me, Now You Don’t”) and showrunner Marlene King is just as excited for us to watch it as we are! Check out the three dialogue sneak peeks she gave fans, and help us deduce who might be speaking and why...

"That bitch has nine lives."
Whoever the speaker is, we think she is talking about Jenna, who recently survived a drowning scare, with foul play more than suspected. The near-death misses for Jenna are abundant: a firecracker in a garage, explosion in Jason’s house... Even we’re impressed with her ability to come out of these situations relatively unscathed (you know, other than that whole blinding thing). As for who might be making the “nine lives” quip? Our money’s on Hanna, who tends to get wittier with anger...and she’s pretty darn angry right about now.

"You can't just disappear like that. Not anymore. Not after the last time."
Hmm...Spencer to Toby? She’d certainly be justified in saying this, as last season Toby not only “disappeared,” but was assumed dead — complete with a fake corpse and everything It also makes sense given that it seems like things come to a head in Toby’s search for his mother in Season 4, Episode 11: “Bring the Hoe Down.” Does Toby take off after his fight with Spence at the hoedown? Not cool, Pretty Eyes.

"Miss Montgomery, can I have a minute of your time?"
This one has to be Ezra talking to Aria, right? Has he still not told her about Maggie’s shenanigans by the summer finale? Possible. His desire to talk to her could have something to do with the hoedown, during which he reaches out to Aria. As Jake is still around in the winter season, we’re guessing Aria is not very receptive to his advances.

Who do you think is saying these lines? And why? Share your theories in the comments below!
