Now that’s groovy, baby! Looks like funnyman Mike Myers has his hands full again thanks to the arrival of his second child. The 50-year-old actor and his wife, Kelly Tisdale, 37, welcomed their daughter, Sunday Molly, into the world today (April 11), and it sounds like they’re over the moon about it.
“We couldn’t be happier,” the couple told People in a recent statement. Mike and Kelly already have a two-and-a-half year son, Spike, and have been married since 2010. We’re sure little Spike is just as excited as his parents about Sunday’s arrival.
The proud mom and dad made the announcement they were pregnant in October, and Mike has always been outspoken about the joys of parenthood. Back in 2013 during the Toronto premiere of his directorial debut, Supermensch, he told Deadline, “Anyone who tells you fatherhood is the greatest thing that can happen to you, they are understating it,” he said. “I am the happiest I have ever been in my life.”
Mike continued, “I knew I wanted to be a father. I didn’t know it was going to be this awesome or that my kid would come out so beautiful and lovely.”
Aww, you guys! Turns out this Austin Powers and Wayne’s World actor just melts when it comes to his kiddos. We hope to see a photo of little Miss Sunday sometime soon; we’re sure she’s a cutie!
Congratulations to the happy family!
