Milan Christopher Receives Accolades For LGBT Community Work (PHOTO)
Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Milan Christopher’s video “When I Go” has caught the attention of California State Senator, Isadore Hall.
The rapper and producer took to Instagram to post a letter from the California Legislative Black Caucus commending him on his work and contributions within the LGBT community.
In a screenshot of the one-page document, posted by The Shade Room, the Caucus goes on to thank Christopher for speaking openly and honestly about domestic violence and lifting up those around him.
When Christopher’s single was released last November, many speculated that the lyrics were directed at his ex-beau and the end of their tumultuous romance.
MC later dropped a powerful accompanying video, addressing the heavy issues of abuse and suicide, which plague so many within the LGBT community. Check out a clip of the video below:
