In a getup strikingly similar to her Elle cover, Miley Cyrus poses in a chest-baring swimsuit for her Miley 2.0 cover of Billboard Magazine. The suit's neckline plunges almost down to her bellybutton, and the hips are cut super-high, for a somewhat classy, but still pretty adult, look that shows off her growing collection of tattoos. But we're used to that from Miley by now.

Like in many of her recent interviews, she ends up spending a good amount of time saying what she's not. "A lot of people wanted to try to make me the white Nicki Minaj," Cyrus says of her new work. "That's not what I'm trying to do. I love 'hood' music, but my talent is as a singer."

"Hood music" is super-broad, Miley! But the point is that she's drawing from a bunch of different influences from her new music, including both hip-hop and her country roots.

Producer Mike WiLL Made It apparently encouraged her to keep her "country twang" on her new record, which apparently stays true to those roots, however much a departure We Can't Stop is from Party in the USA.

Two other takeaways from Billboard's excerpt from their cover story: she's insanely ambitious, and she's still smoking.

She takes a most uncharacteristic pause, dragging on her cigarette as she contemplates the Los Angeles landscape. "I never stop working, ever I put my track list together this morning," Cyrus says. "I want my record to be the biggest record in the world, and I've given everything to get here, even down to friends and family and relationships I've just put this music first. That's been kind of a trip: It's not like I'm losing who I am I actually found out more about who I am by making this music. I'm going on a journey, and that's more than a lot of 20-year-olds can say. And I'm still going to change so much. Because I'm not the same person I was six months ago — I'm not even the same person I was two weeks ago."

"Even [...] relationships"? Is that a clue to her relationship struggles with Liam Hemsworth?!

While it might seem a little arrogant to set out to make "the biggest record in the world," it does seem like she's driven enough to make it happen. You can read the rest of the online content here.
