Life is not currently a party in the USA for Miley Cyrus, and we can't say we blame her for getting emotional at her concert this weekend.
Miley performed at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September, and she was in tears during the performance, according to the Associated Press.
This has been an emotional week for the 20-year-old pop princess, as it was revealed only days ago that she and fiance Liam Hemsworth had split up and called off the wedding.
At the show, Miley was wearing a white corset with tight shorts that exposed her bare midriff. She started her set with "We Can't Stop," in which backup dancers were dressed as rainbows and mushrooms, and she followed that up with "Party in the USA." She did stick her tongue out during the show, but luckily she left the foam finger at home this time.
Miley acknowledged to the crowd that "[there are] things I'm doing that's getting me into trouble, and it's just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me what to do."
But it was while performing her newest number-one hit "Wrecking Ball" when she broke down in tears. Her mascara was running down her face as she left the stage after that song.
"I couldn't have done it without all you guys," Miley told the crowd about "Wrecking Ball" topping the charts this week.
We continue to wish Miley the best as she moves on from the broken engagement. But we're guessing that having the number one song in America and being the most buzzed-about musical act of the moment certainly doesn't hurt.
