Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears have had a little Internet friendmance going on for a few months now, with love thrown out 140 characters at a time. Now they’ve finally given birth to a little love child called “SMS (Bangerz).” Although the song was not set to drop for who knows how long, a super low-budge version of the collaboration between Brit and Miles was leaked onto the interwebs anyway.

You can listen to the track here and then tell us how you feel about it. Keep in mind it’s a pretty low quality, fuzzy version of the song, and will probably sound totally different when it’s on the album. Bangerz is set to be released on October 8, as Miley announced on Twitter on August 15. The Queen of Pop collab will be the third track.

Other artists helping Miley out with the album include Nelly, who is featured on “4x4,” Big Sean, who shows up on “Love, Money, Party,” Future, on the track “My Darlin’,” and French Montana, on the super non-Hannah Montana titled “FU.” The whole record had a hand from Pharrell Williams and Mike WiLL Made It, Miley’s rumored post-Liam Hemsworth boy toy.

As opposed to everything else Miley has sung, the new disc will show her rapping on many of the songs, as on “SMS (Bangerz),” the semi-titular track.

What do you think of Miley’s new sound? Was Britney the right choice to collaborate for this song?
