In case you’re counting, we’re only eight days away from the debut of Miley Cyrus’s new album, Bangerz, on October 8. If that’s still too long a wait before listening to Miley and Britney Spears’s official “SMS (Bangerz)” on repeat, never fear. Bangerz is now streaming on iTunes.

Who made the announcement? None other than Miley herself.

BANGERZ is available to stream on iTunes (@itunesmusic) now,” she tweeted September 30 with a link to the website.

Her excitement noticeably decreases in her next tweet, however.

“D—n it's the edited version for stream :( #F—GBANGERZ,” she wrote and we, obviously, edited. Sorry, girl. It’s the rules.

To further express her frustration, Miley provides the following explanation: “You wouldn't edit art in a museum.” It’s an, um, interesting comparison and one we’re sure Miley’s new music industry mentor Kanye West would be all for.

Still, we doubt the FCC will see Miley’s point particularly since they’re still wading through complaints stemming from her controversial, unedited 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke.

Also, word to the wise: Don’t ever try editing art in a museum. Security guards don’t typically take kindly to red ink pens around the masterpieces.
