If you're not a fan of Miley Cyrus's newfound in-your-face persona, you'll just have to live with it — you won't be seeing her play another character for a while.

As E! Online reports, Miley announced that she had quit acting in the extended version of MTV documentary Miley: The Movement, which aired last night (October 6).

"I thought after my show [Disney Channel's Hannah Montana], I was gonna act," she explained in a deleted scene. "I did one movie, and I came back and said, 'I'm never doing that again. I'm going to do music for the rest of my life.'"

The film in question is the 2012 collegiate-private-eye flick So Undercover. The critically-panned movie didn't even make it into US theaters, going straight to DVD. Perhaps that experience soured her opinion on her cinematic career.

If so, however, she might not be seeing the forest for the trees — her movies The Last Song, Bolt, and Hannah Montana: The Movie were all smash hits at the box office.

With the 20-year-old's new mindset, it's no wonder she murdered her Hannah Montana character in a Saturday Night Live sketch on October 5.

But, um, Miley… doesn't SNL qualify as an acting gig?

Do you believe that Miley will never do another movie? Or do you think she's gonna sign on the dotted line any moment now? Let us know below.
