Parents just want to see their kids happy, right? That’s what Billy Ray Cyrus says when it comes to raising daughter Miley Ray.
The 20-year-old pop star’s recent risqué actions (the MTV Video Music Awards, her naked photos for Terry Richardson, etc, etc) have raised questions about Billy Ray’s parenting style. Now he’s fired back with this tweet: “Wanna know how I feel as a Father?Just heard my daughter say @MileyCyrus ‘I'm the happiest I've ever been in my whole life.’ All I ever wanted.”
Miley has seemed in a perpetual state of exhilaration recently based on her use of emoji and her Twitter messages. Sure, her breakup with fiancé Liam Hemsworth just made the news and she’s been involved in an online brawl with Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor, but Miley doesn’t appear to mind.
“Eating mangos in bed. I repeat...happiest girl in the world,” Miley tweeted October 2. Then, the day before new album Bangerz was set to drop October 8, she messaged, “OMG OMG OMG #bangerz is #1 I love you all so F—ING much! I wanna squeeze everyone of you.” Nineteen emojis accent that tweet, fyi.
Miley does have a lot to be thrilled about right now. Beyond Bangerz’s debut, there’s her fairly well-received Saturday Night Live appearance and her new MTV documentary. Plus, she’s arguably one of the world’s most talked about celebrities. Is that news worth an emoji or two? Sure.
What do you think? Is Miley as happy as can be or is she pouring it on a little thick? Sound off in the comments below.
