When we humans are sick, we shrivel up in bed, stuff our faces with Dunkin' Donuts, and watch Nancy Meyers rom-coms. (True story.)

It's a good thing Miley Cyrus isn't human.

E! News reports that the Bangerz singer isn't feeling well — but is using the downtime to plan an epic return to the stage at the American Music Awards, airing November 24.

"Miley is still is battling a cold," a source says. "She wore herself down through the VMAs to album launch and was exhausted after the Ellen appearance [on October 11]."

And though she's under the weather, the Twerking Queen has "lots more promotion planned," the insider says, adding that her AMAs performance is going to be "huge."

Huge, eh? Huger than her now-infamous VMAs outing? Will she emerge from an even more humongous teddy bear?

Miley is performing at the show along with Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, and Taylor Swift — although she's the only one of those music stars to have not been nominated. (Rihanna got four nods, while Justin and Taylor both got five.)

Well, at least we know Miley doesn't hold a grudge. Either that or she's using the platform to show voters what they're missing!

Excited to see what Miley has in store — or terrified? Let us know below!
