Amsterdam better prepare its 700-year-old self for its share of twerking and tongue-wagging — the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards will not only feature Miley Cyrus as a guest but as a performer, too, when the show hits that fair Dutch city on November 10.

And, as we reported yesterday, Miley has an interesting way of bypassing airport security on her way to the Venice of the North.

The Party Queen also has a stake in the competition. She's up for three awards: Best Pop, Best Female, and Best Video (for "Wrecking Ball").

Miley is also set to perform at the 2013 American Music Awards exactly two weeks later — though she's nominated for exactly zero of trophies that will be doled out that night. (Seems a little amiss to us!)

Even though the 20-year-old is currently battling a cold, she's said to be planning a "huge" spectacle for the AMAs — news that simultaneously titillates and terrifies us.

We're guessing she'll pull out all the stops for the EMAs, too, especially since they're the European equivalent of the MTV Video Music Awards. Anyone need a refresher course on Miley's turnout there?
