Is Miley Cyrus's sexy image wrecking things for Selena Gomez?

Selena has publicly voiced her support for Miley's VMAs performance, but Hollywood Life is reporting that she secretly does not respect Miley for her overtly sexualized image.

Indeed, there have been rumors of a feud between Miley and Selena for years, and it seems that the two still aren't on great terms.

"Selena would never come right out and trash Miley, but she does think Miley’s making a mistake by being so raunchy," says a source.

Apparently, Selena is worried that Miley's sexiness is setting a bad precedent for other female artists.

"[Selena] thinks it’s bad for women in general but also for her as an artist because it puts out the expectation that she should do that too because sex sells," the source continues.

Sure enough, Selena recently said in an interview that she wouldn't go naked in a video a la Miley in the "Wrecking Ball" video. "To each their own," Selena pointedly said.

We understand Selena's concern, but female artists — think Madonna — have been putting out sexy images for decades, and it hasn't kept other more wholesome acts from also getting popular.

But what do you think? Is Miley making a mistake, or should Selena relax?
