Tonight (Sunday, November 10) is the 2013 MTV EMAs, aka the MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be broadcast from Amsterdam.
Fans will see performances from Eminem, Bruno Mars, Kings of Leon, Icona Pop, Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, among others. Since Snoop and Miley are both in Amsterdam, you can imagine they'll probably enjoy a pot-luck celebration at some point.
On that note, early this morning, Katy Perry tweeted, "For tonight's performance of UNCONDITIONALLY on @mtvema I will be letting the LIGHT in & then making you SHINE! #dontneedtobehighforthis."
Paying close attention to the hashtag was Katy's fellow EMAs performer Miley, who replied, "@katyperry @mtvema but you may want to be."
We all know Miley stole the show at the MTV VMAs just a couple of months ago, so who knows what she'll do tonight to keep herself in the spotlight.
U.S. viewers won't be left out — according to MTV, before the EMA telecast jumps to Amsterdam, American audiences will get a front row seat to an expanded 2013 MTV EMA broadcast that will kick-off live from New York City at 7 p.m. Austin Mahone, Jason Derulo and Fall Out Boy will perform live, and U.S. hosts Darren Criss, Cher Lloyd and Andrew Schulz will be joined by The Wanted and EMA backstage host Ariana Grande.
