Unlike Amanda Bynes, Miley Cyrus is not a fan of the word "ugly."
She is, on the other hand, fine with being called a "lesbian," even if it's not quite true. She's an even bigger fan of just being cheeky with her lovers and haters.
Smiley Miley shared the goofy photo shown on January 11, and she really felt like tweeting up a storm in the early hours of January 12. At one point, she admitted, "I love starting a twitter war with someone right across from me." She also tweeted love for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.
Then, kind of out of nowhere, she wrote, "I get called an ugly lesbian a lot more than one would think. Or maybe not. Can u atleast call me an interesting lesbian. I hate the U word."
Nice! Not long after that, she added, "why are people sooooo seriousoooo?"
Miley's rarely serious, except maybe in her music. She's pretty playful with her sexuality — supposedly kissing one of Britney's backup dancers just last month — and she's compared her wild twerking antics to playing a character. But she is a human being with a heart. She fell hard for both Nick Jonas and later ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth, and you can catch glimpses of her serious side in her new songs.
Miley may not be a kid anymore, but 21 is still fairly young and she's not really hurting anyone. She definitely doesn't deserve the "u" word — and "lesbian" may be fine to her, but it's possibly insulting to women who really do identify as gay and don’t want to be associated with this “experimenting” girl.
"Interesting," though, pretty much covers all the Miley bases...
