Wondering where Miley Cyrus was last night for The Grammys? Well, as she shared via Twitter, girl was getting her Guitar Hero on. But video games were on the menu only after she finished her set at Clive Davis’ Grammy Gala the night before.

Dressed in a long fur coat and short white dress, Miley took the Beverly Hilton Hotel stage on Saturday, January 25, to sing a medley of hits both old and new. One of the show’s highlights: her raspy rendition of “Jolene,” a tune made famous by her godmother, Dolly Parton. Miley’s country roots really show in a clip of her performance, making for a stark contrast to her Bangerz-esque look.

The evening’s entertainment also included R. Kelly and Fantasia as well as 2014 Grammy winners Pharrell Williams and Imagine Dragons. And that was just the set list! Sitting out in the audience were Grammy winners like Taylor Swift and Rihanna and Golden Globe winner Jared Leto (whom Miley chatted up at the event). So, yeah — no pressure on that performance.

Miley didn’t attend the actual awards show this year and she wasn’t alone in staying in. Also not in attendance: 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber (not that that last one’s a surprise considering what all went down last week). No harm in not going though. They can just catch up on all the night’s star-studded performances on our video roundup.
