What do you do after you’ve just won an Olympic medal? Go to Disneyland? Nah. Flirt with a Disney star instead!

That, at least, is what Olympian Gus Kenworthy did after he won silver in new freestyle skiing event slopestyle and helped claim all three spots in the event for Team USA. With a little help from his friends at NBC, Gus asked Miley to be his Valentine on February 14.

“.@MileyCyrus, @guskenworthy helped sweep the podium last night; now can he sweep you off your feet? #OlympicValentine,” the channel’s official Twitter messaged the 21-year-old pop star.

It took Miley a couple of days to respond — hey, she’s on tour! — but respond she eventually did. “Hi! You're the best :),” she tweeted Gus, whom she now also follows on Twitter. The shout-out, he says, “just hit me like a wrecking ball.”

The two went on to exchange a little virtual eyelash batting with Miley, who retweeted a truly adorable pic of the handsome athlete smothered by puppies (this photo actually exists, people).

“4 reasons to follow @guskenworthy (melts into 1,001 pieces),” Miley tweeted February 16 along with a photo of Gus and four stray dogs. He’s planning to take home the litter along with his medal, adopting one and finding good homes for the other three. Miley, you interested?
