If Miley Cyrus were to cover any song by classic Brit boy band the Beatles, it would be the one whose initials spell out LSD!

The Twerking Queen treated viewers of the 2014 Billboard Music Awards on May 18 with a cover of the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," in which she belted out the song alongside the Flaming Lips as sparkly confetti rained down around them.

But Miley wasn't actually at the Las Vegas ceremony — the fluorescent-hued performance was taped at the May 14 stop of her Bangerz tour in Manchester, England.

Though The Beatles denied it at the time of the song's release, "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" is widely regarded to be all about that trippy psychotropic its initials spell out. (Not that we're endorsing it here!)

The Miley-assisted cover of the song is actually a track on the Flaming Lips' tribute album With a Little Help From My Fwends — a track-for-track recreation of the Beatles' album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band — which will help fund veterinary care for disadvantaged families' pets in the band's hometown of Oklahoma City.

That must be music to Miley's ears since she's such an avid dog lover! With a Little Help From My Fwends is due for release on October 28.
