Miranda Kerr: Women “Need to Stand Together and Empower Each Other” To Be Their Best Selves
When it comes to female empowerment, Miranda Kerr is all about it — and she’s a living example that girls can do anything. Not only is she a crazy successful model, but she also launched her own skincare line, Kora Organics, is a certified health coach, and still finds time to cuddle with her adorable 3-year-old son, Flynn. If she’s handing out advice? We’re taking it!
In a recent interview with Marie Claire Mexico, the 31-year-old mom talked about what it means for women to be supportive of each other in order to achieve their goals, despite how different they may be.
“What I’m trying to encourage, especially within young women, is for them to celebrate individuality, embrace their authenticity, and really feel like they don’t have to fit into a certain type of box,” Miranda told the mag, according to E! News. “Everyone is so different and we need to stand together and empower each other as women to be the best versions of ourselves that we know we can be.”
Well said! If the whole modeling slash business woman slash skincare maven career doesn’t work out, Miranda’s definitely got a future in motivational speaking. Think she could hit the gym and encourage us while we’re on the treadmill?
“Some people are more intellectual, some people are really funny, whatever it is, we all have something unique to bring to the table,” Miranda added. “So find what it is that you’re passionate about, be true to your beliefs, and don’t feel that you have to be anything but yourself.”
