Miss Utah 2013 Marissa Powell Flubs Her Miss USA Answer — See It!
We can't all think quickly under pressure — not even beauty queens.
At the 2013 Miss USA pageant over the weekend, Miss Utah Marissa Powell gave one of the most baffling answers ever in the history of the pageant's often-baffling answers.
The 20-year-old beauty contestant was asked by judge NeNe Leakes: "A recent report shows that in 40 percent of American families with children, women are the primary earners, yet they continue to earn less than men."
"What does this say about society?" NeNe continued.
Get ready to lose a few brain cells as you try to make sense of Marissa's head-scratching response.
"I think we can relate this back to education and how we are continuing to try to strive to...," she said before pausing and giving a big smile. Then, this happened.
"Figure out how to create jobs right now," she added. "That is the biggest problem. I think especially the men are seen as the leaders of this, so we need to figure out how to create education better so we can solve this problem."
See, people? We're always saying that America needs to "create education better," and now someone finally agrees with us!
