In last week’s episode of Mob Wives: New Blood we saw Alicia DiMichele questioning the trustworthiness of her inner circle after eerily personal stories about her start popping up in the tabloids. The stories in question, we are now learning, were those claiming that the new Mob Wife had lied to the judge presiding over her embezzlement trial in order to travel to Las Vegas for episode tapings.
Back in September when the ladies were in Sin City, Alicia posted a photo of herself and Drita D’Avanzo lounging poolside at the casino (see photo above). Some gossip reporters were saying that by travelling to Vegas, Alicia was violating the $50K bond that was bonding her to the Tri-State Area while the trial was ongoing. But Alicia reportedly had the travel ban removed by the judge for purposes of transporting her son to college in West Virginia.
Following the ep’s airing, the mother of two took to Twitter to explain the truth of the issue:
“Obviously I posted the photo of me in Vegas… It’s on my [Instagram] page geniuses! That was never the issue… The fake story about lying to the judge that was made up, leaked, or whatever you want to call it, was wrong. That’s the point!”
Ahh, it makes sense now. Why would she have posted that photo if she wasn’t allowed to be in Las Vegas? We’re pretty sure VH1 would never have cleared the trip if that had been the case. So who told the press that Alicia lied to the judge?
Tune into Mob Wives: New Blood to find out on Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on VH1.
